Message from the Ambassador

           I feel great pleasure on the launch of the beautiful web-site of the Pakistan Education Centre (PEC), Doha on this auspicious day of 23^rd March 2006.  Needless to say that the Internet and on-line communications are a dire necessity and not a luxury in today’s global village world.  Pakistan Education Centre has the unique distinction to be the representative School for our community living here over the past many decades.  The School has been imparting quality education to the young generation of our community. PEC has produced very eminent scholars, doctors, engineers, researchers, academicians as well as sportsmen of repute. 

           I congratulate the faculty; specially the Computer Department of the PEC for putting in efforts that have made possible the launch of this very useful and informative site.  I appreciate quality of its contents and  the links that have been added to it for the pursuit of  academic knowledge and its constant enrichment.  I am confident that the website would be kept up-dated from time to time so as to keep it ‘attractive’ and ‘lively’. Now that the website has become operational, the Pakistan Education Centre may venture into developing a web portal, as has been my desire and advice to them, for linkages with other schools based in Doha and outside for exchanges of academic materials, views and interaction between teachers and the taught in the academic field.

           I wish the Pakistan Education Centre every success in its academic as well as extra-curricular endeavours.
